We offer different worship services to meet different worship needs.
FULL CELEBRATION SERVICE
Sunday, 10:00 am
In the Sanctuary
Each week our worship celebration is a creative mix of music, readings, skits, sermon, prayers, a children’s time, hymns and sacraments. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month. Musical offerings include full choir, both organ and piano selections, and special musical performances by our multi-talented congregation. Children leave for Sunday School after the Children’s Message, which is after the opening hymn. We hold the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month.
BRIGHT & EARLY WORSHIP
Sundays, 8:15 am
(Starting on Sept. 13th)
In the Sanctuary
This small, informal service includes lovely, reflective music by Susan Muhler & Don Pope, Rev. Rusty’s weekly sermon, time for quiet prayer, and weekly communion. All are welcome!
SPACE FOR GRACE SERVICE
Wednesday, 7:30 pm
(During Advent & Lent)
In the Sanctuary
Our Space for Grace Service provides an opportunity to worship in a more intimate way. It currently differs from the Sunday Worship Service in two primary ways: Communion is served each week and, in place of the sermon, we focus on a passage from scripture then discuss it. Special music is provided by Susan Davies Muhler and Don Pope.
Children’s Communion & Bible Sunday – June 5th
Once a year we celebrate communion with a focus on our children, offering young people an opportunity to be front and center as we share the Lord’s Supper. Rev. Rusty will be instructing children in the meaning of communion on Sunday, May 22nd, and then children will be invited to sit in the front of the sanctuary as he celebrates the sacrament. We will also be giving out bibles to children who are completing the 2nd grade; this group will also be invited to stand at the table as Rev. Rusty talks through the Lord’s supper.
Children’s Day Sunday – June 12th
In a celebrate that is more than a century old, our church will be honoring children who are completing another year of Sunday School, by having them lead the worship service, along with their teachers. Come enjoy the creativity and energy of young people as they express their faith. Then stay for the Church Family Picnic that will follow.
